David Burgess attended Texas Christian University and received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a minor in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980. He began his career in the investment brokerage industry in 1984 with Dean Witter Reynolds and went on to work for several major Wall Street firms until he joined Rhodes Securities in 1995 as an independent Registered Representative. David is a Registered Investment Advisor, licensed commodity broker and a partner in Seventh Street Partners L.P., an unregistered investment partnership. His primary business focus is individual equities, balanced with bonds and mutual funds. His investing style centers around brand named growth companies with an emphasis on technical and psychological conditions in the market.
