J. Gordon Rhodes was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University majoring in Speech Communication and Business Administration. Upon graduating, he had a short stint in New York City as a production assistant in the T.V. industry and later as an associate producer in the independent movie realm before coming to work for Rhodes Securities as a Financial Advisor.

He has many investment options at his disposal but is most partial to the time tested discipline of dollar cost averaging. He is the treasurer of the 12:48 Foundation and a youth sponsor to the high school ministry at Christ Chapel Bible Church. Gordon is married to Julie Rhodes and has a two year old boy named Andrew.
