Rush Vann was born and raised in Fort Worth. He graduated from Trinity Valley School, Austin College and received his MBA from the University of Dallas. He entered the securities business in 1980 with Schneider, Bernet & Hickman and became a Registered Principal in 1984, co-managing the Fort Worth office of Thomson, McKinnon Securities. In 2002, Rush opened his own investment management company under the auspices of Rhodes Securities, Inc. He has been involved in all aspects of the securities business from regional firms to wirehouse to independent. He is a current and past member of several community organizations. Rush has two grown sons.
